Compass Equipment Hire is a family owned and operated business based in Woodburn, with over 50 years of earthmoving experience across the Northern Rivers. We provide both dry hire and wet hire services, supporting projects ranging from subdivisions and dam construction to road works, verge mulching and riverbank rehabilitation.
Our fleet includes skid steer loaders, excavators, tipper trucks, low loaders and floats, along with other attachments to suit a wide range of site requirements. We manage all freight, repairs and maintenance in-house, supported by our own engineering operation, McGeary Bros Engineering, ensuring equipment is fit for purpose.
We hold current Workers Compensation, $20 million Public Liability and Cargo Protection insurance, and are trusted by clients through repeat work and referrals.
